Hello? (tap, tap) Is this thing on? (tap) There we go… So I was wondering if I might be able to get some help from my audience (I am assuming at least my mom is still reading). What are you reading this summer? I am on a real reading tear and I am looking for a few good books. I just finished The Kite Runner, which is fabulous, although very sad and now I am not sure what I am going to start on next. So tell me, what would you recommend?

I am also reading (listening) the Kite Runner. It is sad but quite interesting. I have heard that the follow on book, “A Thousand Splendid Suns” is also very good.
People seem to like the new Michael Connely book too.

For school I have to read “The Namesake”. I’ve only just started to read it but it’s good so far and everyone I’ve talked to has said that it’s really really good. They also just made a movie on it! Just thought I would put in my two cents!
